John Byrne has worked closely with federal and state agencies as well as international organizations, such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), on a variety of policy and regulatory initiatives. Testified for the American Bankers Association on a regular basis before congressional committees such as the House Financial Services Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, Senate Banking Committee and the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as state legislatures and regulatory agencies. Appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Prime Time Live, CNN, CSPAN’s Washington Journal and local television representing the banking industry on a vast array of issues.
John has published many articles on anti-money laundering, privacy and compliance issues and serves as an advisor to a variety of regulatory publications.
